3. County Wills, 1671-1868, Archives Collection

are located to the right of the copy machine as you face the machine. This Index case holds:

1.  a large one-volume Index to County Wills, 1782-ca. 1855,

2.  a smaller Index to Charleston Wills, 1671 – 1868;

both indexes are to W.P.A. Will Transcripts located on microfilm in Drawers 95-96. 

3.  A notebook, Index to Wills, Inventories, and Miscellaneous Records, 1687-1746, is also available to microfilm located in Drawers 94-95. The additional guides at this location are a continuance of the Archives guides and finding aids found at MAP KEY 2.
